Where? North-east of Manchester, close to the Pennines.

Why? Simon Danczuk MP won the seat with a majority of 889. Rochdale took centre stage during the 2010 campaign when Gordon Brown called local resident Gillian Duffy a “bigoted woman” after she challenged the then PM on immigration and the economy.
