7-way leader debate

What will voters in Stroud think of the 7-way party debate?

50for15 asks the electors of Stroud

For the first time in history the public will be able to watch the leaders of 7 of Great Britain’s political parties debate head-to-head, but what effect will this have on the voters in the key marginal constituencies, where the outcome of the election is really decided?

On Thursday 2nd April, 50for15 will be heading to Stroud to hold a focus group on the TV debate – the exact time will be announced when the broadcasters make their final arrangements.

In the Crown and Sceptre in Stroud, a group of voters of all persuasions and none will watch the TV debate together.

Will the TV debate actually change anyone’s mind? Will the debate seem relevant to the everyday concerns of people in Stroud? Will anyone come off better informed, or will it just seem like a lot of hot air? 50for15 will be putting these questions to the voters of Stroud.

50for15 will be live-tweeting the event, and a freely embeddable video on 50for15’s YouTube channel will be available the next day.

If you would like to be involved in the focus group, please contact 50for2015@gmail.com
